Tim Tsiklauri
Where I was born?
Georgia, former USSR. I moved to Moscow to study Business before coming to NZ. I came for a year or so, but fell in love with the place and decided to stay.
What was I doing before I joined Gaulter Russell?
I worked in a variety of accounting and finance roles before going to study film. From there I became a serial contractor, that is until I found these lovely people – I hope this is my last accounting role before I move into movies full time.
Why do I work at Gaulter Russell?
People and work culture. Applying a football analogy, the Accountant would be a goalkeeper, and I really enjoy minding the posts for such a great and talented team. The folk here are ambitious, yet easy-going, demanding the best, yet allowing you space to do it your way. They’re respectful of my lifestyle and they never cease to amaze me with their professionalism and kindness.
What do I do at Gaulter Russell?
I am the Accountant. Put very simplistically - I count beans and everything else that needs to be counted for both GR and Numero.
What do I do with my spare time?
I’m building a career in film as a writer/director, so most of my time outside of the office goes into cinematic pursuits. I enjoy active leisure, with sport and travel high on my list. I’m also an avid music listener and collector, and I have a strong interest in self-development.
