Key Account Manager
Exciting role for an experienced and confident Key Account Manager in Auckland.

This well known business plays a vital role in food health and safety worldwide. They are unique and focus on end to end food supply chain through a combination of auditing, inspection, farm assurance, and laboratory testing capabilities in FMCG.
This role will see you being part of a team working primarily in Dairy and Food across New Zealand, you will be managing a $15Million portfolio with around 15 accounts. This is a pivotal role in the business as you will also be working on building new business through leads and your built up network. Core parts of the role will include (but not limited to) leading joint customer business planning and reviews for high end clients, writing up quotes and tender processes, managing your clients and building strong strategic partnerships, negotiating key customer contracts, renewals and roll over maintenance.
The successful candidate for this role will come with several years experience in key account management and business development with an interest in working with a variety of high level clients. You will have proven relationship building experience and be a whizz at new business development. You should be personable, approachable, be able to work in a team and autonomously. You will be driven and self motivated and have a stellar attitude. Having soft sales skills is really important in this role as well as being commercially savvy, trustworthy and solutions focused. You will be an extension of this brand and it is important that you are focused on getting the job done right, so having attention to detail is key!
This is a full time, permanent role based in Auckland only so you must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand permanently to be successful for this role. The role comes with a car and a great salary and bonus package for the right candidate.
