This role is responsible for providing strategic direction whilst also monitoring the day to day operations of the team. You’ll develop and implement strategies to grow profitable sales for your distributor network, from small wins to big strategic initiatives. Alongside your National Business Manager, you’ll maximise business growth through ongoing sales and business development, ensuring delivery through exceptional customer focus, systems and processes.
The fit with the culture is integral to this role. There are no show ponies here...you’ll need to be someone who is grounded and hardworking, successful but not pretentious. We seek an experienced National Sales Manager, National Business Manager or GM with strong FMCG and foodservice relationships and exposure to a distributor network. You’ll be well known for your integrity and powerful negotiations, you are respected for your ability to manage a successful team and deliver great results. With an exceptional track record in sales, you will be able to demonstrate your leadership and overall business acumen and ultimately tangible commercial achievements. Due to key projects requiring implementation in the short term, you will need to be IT savvy and technically astute.
