Are you a real go-getter, someone who’s keen to make their mark and thrives in growth environments? Join this tight-knit team in growth mode! Our client is a subsidiary of a significant South Auckland manufacturer who prides itself on the quality of its service and product. Play a key role in continuing their growth trajectory!
Reporting to the GM, you’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities for business, as well as developing strong relationships with existing accounts. With a strong technical bent, you’ll bring a structured approach to account planning and development within your area as well as a strong customer focus.
You’ll be used to developing relationships with a wide base of customers, including direct to clients, as well as end users. Ideally, you’ll also have had some exposure to marketing and be able to provide market insights to the wider team, as well as thoughts around areas such as branding and positioning.
It’ll be a given that you have a proven track record of sales success within the building/construction sector (ideally steel). You’ll relish the thrill of the chase but also exhibit a real customer and service delivery focus, combined with outstanding interpersonal and relationship management skills.
