Rachael Lewis Green
Operations Manager
Where was I born.
Titirangi, West Auckland born and bred, I have lived in Auckland my whole life, apart from a short stint in Perth back in the 90’s.
What was I doing before I joined Gaulter Russell.
With a background predominantly in Human Resources, I moved into broader management in 2002 taking on a Commercial Management role to assist in the establishment of a boutique recruitment consultancy. After nearly five years in this position, looking for a new challenge I decided on contracting, which lead me into a Business Support Manager role in the IT industry for a couple of years, before joining Numero.
My NZIM Diploma in Management has been a work in progress over the years, studying part time whilst working, which is always an interesting challenge!
Why do I work at Gaulter Russell.
Having been engaged by Numero initially on contract to assist with documentation and processes, discussions quickly turned to the opportunity of an Operations Management role. Knowing Numero’s strong reputation in the market, the caliber of their people and their value-based culture it seemed a natural choice for me to join the team. Having also enjoyed working alongside Rachel McNaughton in the past the opportunity to work with her again was an added bonus!
What do I do at Gaulter Russell.
I work across Numero and Gaulter Russell - wearing many different hats - assisting with the efficient day to day operations of both businesses particularly focusing on the areas of Administration, HR, Facilities, IT and Finance.
What do I do with my spare time.
Friends and family time is big in my life. I regularly enjoy sharing fine food, vino and a good old laugh. Having built our house a few years back we’re also constantly working on various projects to add the finishing touches. I am a keen walker and love to get out into the Waitakeres Ranges and to Piha Beach whenever I get the chance. I also enjoy dancing and having attended Ballroom and Latin classes in the past, I am now embarking on Ceroc classes – which I have even managed to drag my hubby along to!
