My journey into recruitment stemmed from my decision to break away from a career in academia. After graduating with first class honours in education in early 2017, I was torn between a research or more people focused career. After some research, I found I could combine these two passions as a recruitment professional.
I began my recruiting career as a general trade’s consultant with a well-established industrial recruiter, which provided great insight into several of Auckland’s most dynamic industries. In 2018 I moved into civil construction consulting, before coming on board with Numero. Since beginning in recruitment I have naturally progressed towards the more specialised, bespoke form of recruitment I am now fortunate enough to experience at Gaulter Russell Numero.
Specialising now in supply chain and junior accounting & finance, I am able to utilise my extensive research skills to find the best solution for clients, whilst at the same time building great client and candidate relationships. I really enjoy the depth and width of supply chain and accounting & finance - and the fact that your contribution to the industry (and wider society as a whole!) is clearly visible. I look forward to further challenging myself and pairing some of New Zealand’s top talent with our valued clients.
In my spare time I love to travel, exercise, spend time with family and research into just about anything. I am originally British so the odd cup of tea and some football is also likely!
