Are you an experienced Category Manager looking for your next contract opportunity? This is a fantastic role to add value and to focus on delivering results in a dynamic and large FMCG business here in NZ whilst still enjoying the support and resources of a global corporate.
As Category Manager you will be the 'central hub', managing all category management initiatives to meet the expectations of shoppers, trade and wider business for this key portfolio. As a key commercial influencer, you'll be integral to the sales and marketing process.
Your role will be responsible for pricing, promotional and ranging guidelines, the preparation of planograms as well as the development and presentation of category reviews and promotional trade strategies in conjunction with marketing.
This is a customer facing role, so you will need to bring previous FMCG category management experience to the table and be able to hit the ground running. Your attention to detail and analytical skills are coupled with an impressive ability to present to senior management and customers alike. You will be hard working but enjoy working in a fun, hands-on team as well as being a strong influencer who is able to get buy in particularly across the sales and marketing functions.
