About the Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
Generating New Business – New/Referrals -
Full sales process including discussing options and pricing.
Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the build process.
Generate new business from Existing customers in the form of referrals.
Create new networks and relationships that gain new business through the use of strong Business Development Skills & Techniques eg; Property Developers, Real Estate Agents, Investors, Building Supply Chain Suppliers & Supporters.
Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) -
Maintain appropriate Enquiry Follow Up Standards, Call cycles & input of information.
Ensure accurate follow up, forecasting, estimating and all information in the CRM is up to date.
Market, Technical & Product Knowledge -
Strong, sound & relevant Market, Technical & Product Knowledge to ensure the efficient & accurate delivery of services to customers throughout their journey.
Develop empathic and professional customer relationships. Work together with all Departments to ensure a high degree of effective and professional inter-department communication.
Nurture and develop across all departments – Sales, Costing, Draughting, Home Planning & Subdivisions, Construction, Customers, Suppliers, Sub Contractors.
Your ability to understand the needs of the customer and develop plans to meet those needs is of the utmost importance. As is an honest approach with a high level of integrity. Excellent persuasion skills ie; ensuring both your internal and external teams deliver what you require to meet our clients’ needs. Exceptional communication, product knowledge, facilitation and sales skills are all critical success factors to this role.
Sales Courses &/or Qualifications (beneficial, however not essential for the right candidate)
Previous experience in the Building industry e.g. Project Management, Construction, Carpentry, Draughting or Architecture (would be beneficial, however not essential for the right candidate).
A high level of personal and vehicle presentation is required at all times in order to represent the business to a high professional standard.
