This is an outstanding opportunity to be the “CEO” of a highly regarded product family in a market with ever increasing demand and opportunity! Our client is an entrepreneurial company on a strong growth trajectory with lots of plans for the future and a dynamic and committed team. And they’re looking for like-minded people to join them in this exciting role.
Reporting to the GM Sales and Service, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing a family of technical products to deliver growth via indirect channel partners for both B2C and B2B customers (SME), and across both Australia and New Zealand. Working closely with the sales team you’ll build and re-engage an indirect channel by creating a suite of compelling and competitive products that meet the needs of your end customers. As the champion for your product line, you’ll set a realistic vision of what success means, ensuring the ongoing growth and profitability of the products. You’ll define compelling value propositions through your technical understanding, your commercial acumen and your valuable insights into your market and customer needs.
A real self-starter, you’ll have a proven track record of success in product management and a strong affinity for and understanding of technical/quasi-scientific products and environments. Backgrounds in mechanical engineering, water chemistry or chemical engineering would be ideal. You’ll also need to be able to demonstrate a proven track record of success in marketing via a reseller channel as well as managing international suppliers.
A go-getter, you’ll be someone who wants to make a difference, is inquisitive and tenacious and who relishes a challenge! Clearly, excellent commercial acumen is a prerequisite for this role and your financial literacy must be strong. We know, we’re not asking for much!
